Today is a bittersweet day in The Ritz Carlton Prevelly Hills. Why? It is a bitter day because the park is without one of its heroes; he is gone, vanished into mythological legend to only to live in the memories of us mortals along with other legends his contemporary-legends like Achilles and Hercules.
However, it is a sweet day because our hero’s departure is a dream come true story for the trailer park. You see, Irish Dave’O Mcgarrell, our resident surf-crazed Irishman has achieved the impossible. He has achieved what every young ambitious man in West Australia dreams of achieving. Just as ambitious young Ivy League students dream of working for Goldman Sachs or Google, young men in West Australia aspire to similar ambitions. Irish Dave’O Mcgarrell landed a job in the mines. Mining is the Goldman Sachs of West Australia. He doesn’t know what he’s mining, he doesn’t know where he’s mining it, and he doesn’t care, because he’s in the big time now.
